Accessing the SEO Generation Feature
You can generate SEO content directly from the draft tab:
1. Open the Draft tab for your article.
2. Click the “Generate SEO” button in the top-right corner.
3. The app will create personalized SEO elements based on your draft content.
Good to Know: SEO content can be regenerated anytime if you update your draft or want new variations.
Key Publishing Elements
FOMO.ai generates several important SEO elements during this stage:
1. SEO Title
The SEO title appears in search engine results and browser tabs. It includes your focus keyword and is optimized for search visibility.
Good to Know: FOMO.ai automatically generates SEO titles under 60 characters to ensure they display properly in search results without truncation. This follows search engine best practices.
2. Meta Description
The meta description summarizes your content for search engines and users. It appears beneath the title in search results and influences click-through rates.
Good to Know: FOMO.ai automatically generates meta descriptions under 156 characters that include your target keyword. This ensures they display properly in search results while maximizing SEO effectiveness.
3. Key Takeaways
These are the main three points from your article, formatted as concise bullet points. Placing these at the top of your blog post helps readers quickly understand what they'll learn and improves SEO by providing clear summary content.
4. Alternative Titles
FOMO.ai generates three additional SEO-optimized H1 title options for your blog post. These provide alternatives if you're not satisfied with the primary title or want to test different versions.
If you prefer one of the alternative titles over the main title:
Review the three alternative titles provided.
Click the "Set Alt Title" button next to your preferred option.
This will replace the main H1 title with your selected alternative.
Editing SEO Information
To modify any of the generated SEO elements:
1. Head over to the Actions button.
2. Select Regenerate SEO.

3. Click the Actions button in the top-right corner.
4. Select Edit to adjust SEO fields (metadata, titles, or key takeaways).
5. Click Save to update your draft with the new SEO details.
Saving Publishing Information
You have two options for saving your SEO information:
Option 1: Copy and Paste
This method copies all SEO information to your clipboard for use in any platform:
Click the "Action" button in the top-right corner.
Select "Copy All" from the dropdown menu.
Paste the information into your CMS or a document of your choice.
Option 2: Save to Google Drive
This method saves your SEO information along with your draft in a single document:
Scroll to the bottom of the Publish tab.
Click "Save to Google Drive".
Good to Know: Your FOMO.ai account must be connected to Google Drive before saving. If you haven't connected yet, follow the same steps outlined in the Outline Process guide under "Saving to Google Drive > First-Time Connection."
