Brand Lens Enhancements

  • Improved Overall UX to fully support parallel generation including new onboarding questions, navigation, and auto save functionality.

Content Quality Enhancements

  • Improved overall outline quality and outline generation speed.

  • Various Improvements to all outline templates, including improvements to break up the content, add more variability between drafts, and improve introductions.

  • Improved image generation quality and image diversity across multiple dimensions

  • Added ability to export the Draft in multiple formats (markdown, html, and others)

Also included are various other UI improvements, bug fixes, and stability improvements.

Brand Lens Enhancements

This release introduces major improvements to Brand Lens generation and onboarding, including:

  • Brand Lens generation now happens in parallel, reducing generation time by 75%.

  • The onboarding process has been refined for smoother setup and faster access to the Brand Lens and Content Team.

  • After onboarding, the first piece of branded content is generated automatically.

  • Various prompt enhancements improve the accuracy, tone, and consistency of the generated Brand Lens outputs.

  • Added validation for the number of companies per account, with a limit of 28.

Content Team Updates

  • Refined backend logic and workflows to deliver faster, more accurate content creation

  • Added the ability to generate content across supported workflows for faster execution automatically.

  • Research functionality has been upgraded to provide higher-quality, more authoritative sources and better link handling, including:

    • Overhauled research process with more primary sources and fewer commercial ones.

    • Improved internal and external link generation results in more reliable and accurate citations.

UI and Performance Improvements

Multiple user interface and experience upgrades have been introduced to make the app faster, smoother, and easier to use.

  • Content Team UI - Enhanced layout, status feedback, and general performance throughout the Content Team workflow.

  • Auth and Team Member Management- Improved reliability and feedback when adding team members or managing authentication.

  • Various usability updates, bug fixes, and performance optimizations across the app.

  • Added links to the official FOMO.ai Discord community for user support and announcements.

FOMO.ai app - v1.2.1 - 25 August 2025

Role-Based Access Control

The new user roles available: Owner, Admin, and Editor.

  • All three roles can edit the Brand Lens, use AI Team Members, and use the Content Team.

  • Admins and Owners can add team members, edit roles, and manage payments.

  • Only owners can edit owner roles. Admins can not remove or edit Owner roles.

Content Updates

  • Outline notifications- The app sends notifications as each part of the outline process progresses, updating the user about progress.

  • Date knowledge - The content team is now updated with the current date. This information flows through all stages, including the new research process.

Various UI Improvements and Bug Fixes

  • Fixed logic for updating titles across the AI content team.

  • Improved UI and loading across various pages and data elements.

  • Bump various BE packages.

  • Security improvements.

Updates to the Brand Lens

The Brand Lens now includes:

  • Editorial guidelines

  • Photography guidelines

  • Brand color palette

To view and access these features, click the “Brand Guidelines” button available on the Brand Lens tab. If not satisfied with the results, the brand guidelines can be regenerated by clicking on the “Generate” button.

Updates to AI Team Members

  • The AI copywriter now includes the editorial guidelines and improvements to using the Brand Lens. It also includes special instructions for content re-optimization, long-form content, and FAQs.

  • The Brand Photographer uses the photography guidelines and brand color palette in the brand lens, with prompt optimizations to take advantage of this.

Updates to the Content Team

The AI content team was updated with a complete rebuild of our backend system. This includes:

Improving our job queuing and prompt management system.

  • Error rates are down by an order of magnitude, and all errors are now recoverable by users.

  • Ability to quicky test and iterate agent workflows and prompts

Improvements to content generation

  • General improvements to the keyword table.

  • Bulk uploading keywords.

  • Custom instructions for each stage of the content team.

  • Integration of the brand lens persona and product into pre-writing.

  • Integration of the editorial instructions into the outline and draft writing phases.

  • A complete overhaul of image generation for the content team. This includes integrating the brand photographer process into the content team.

  • Optimizations to the outline template prompts.

In addition, dozens of other UX improvements and bug fixes have been made across the app.
