Role-Based Access Control

The new user roles available: Owner, Admin, and Editor.

  • All three roles can edit the Brand Lens, use AI Team Members, and use the Content Team.

  • Admins and Owners can add team members, edit roles, and manage payments.

  • Only owners can edit owner roles. Admins can not remove or edit Owner roles.

Content Updates

Outline notifications

  • The app sends notifications as each part of the outline process progresses, updating the user about progress.

Data knowledge

  • The content team is now updated with the current year “2025”. There will be no more “2024 Guides.” This information flows through all stages, including the new research process.

Various UI Improvements and Bug Fixes

  • Fixed logic for updating titles across the AI content team.

  • Improved UI and loading across various pages and data elements.

  • Bump various BE packages.

  • Security improvements.

Updates to the Brand Lens

The Brand Lens now includes:

  • Editorial guidelines

  • Photography guidelines

  • Brand color palette

To view and access these features, click the “Brand Guidelines” button available on the Brand Lens tab. If not satisfied with the results, the brand guidelines can be regenerated by clicking on the “Generate” button.

Updates to AI Team Members

  • The AI copywriter now includes the editorial guidelines and improvements to using the Brand Lens. It also includes special instructions for content re-optimization, long-form content, and FAQs.

  • The Brand Photographer uses the photography guidelines and brand color palette in the brand lens, with prompt optimizations to take advantage of this.

Updates to the Content Team

The AI content team was updated with a complete rebuild of our backend system. This includes:

  • Improving our job queuing system.

    • Error rates are down by an order of magnitude, and errors are now recoverable by users.

    • Migrating to a prompt development platform called Vellum.

  • Now we can iterate and quickly test prompts on real data.

    • Rich logging and telemetry off our AI systems.

    • A/B testing prompts.

    • Build evaluations off prompts.

Improvements to content generation

  • General improvements to the keyword table.

  • Bulk uploading keywords.

  • Custom instructions for each stage of the content team.

  • Integration of the brand lens persona and product into pre-writing.

  • Integration of the editorial instructions into the outline and draft writing phases.

  • A complete overhaul of image generation for the content team. This includes integrating the brand photographer process into the content team.

  • Optimizations to the outline template prompts.

In addition, dozens of other UX improvements and bug fixes have been made across the app.
