Infographics, AI Interviews Beta, and Other Improvements
Infographics & Visual Content
This release introduces major upgrades to visual content generation across the platform, making infographics a first-class content type and improving how images are created, edited, and integrated into workflows.
Brand Lens & Infographic guidelines
The Brand Lens now includes Infographic Guidelines that define styling, elements, fonts, and visual rules used for AI-generated infographics.
Easy Migration - Existing Brand Lenses may display a one-click Generate button to automatically populate the guidelines.
Like every other part of the Brand Lens, Infographic Guidelines can also be regenerated through the Brand Lens Actions menu.
Infographic Designer
A new Infographic Designer AI team member has been added alongside the Brand Photographer.
Users can provide a topic, review generated infographic options, and download, copy, or edit the results directly within the app.
Inline Image Editing
All images across the platform now support inline editing.
Users can click Edit on any image, describe changes in natural language, and choose to keep the original, replace it, or continue refining the image.
This applies to images in both AI Team Member conversations and Content Team drafts.
Content Team Image Integration
The AI will generate either infographic-style visuals or brand photography inline within the draft.
When building an outline in the Content Team, users can now specify the image type for each section.
Images can now be generated directly within the Content Team draft editor using slash commands.
Typing “/” allows users to generate and insert images inline in the draft.
Teams that do not use image generation can now disable it entirely through Content Settings.
Interview Workflow (Beta)
Interviews are now integrated directly into the FOMO.ai platform, allowing teams to collect insights and convert them into structured content. Interviews allow for knowledge gain, bringing in unique insights that differentiate your content.
Users can create interviews to share or email to collegues or to take themselves.
The AI automatically generates tailored interview questions, and interviewees can participate via a shareable link without logging in.
Completed interview transcripts can be pushed directly into the Content Team.
The AI integrates interview insights and quotes into outlines and drafts, determining when to include direct quotes or paraphrased insights.
Interviews can be grouped into organized series and folders, making it easier to manage multiple interviews and batch content workflows.
Users can create interviews by selecting a format such as case study, thought leadership, or how-to content.
Localization & UX Improvements
The app interface is now fully translated into Spanish, with infrastructure in place to support additional languages in future releases.
Multiple interface elements, including the sidebar, modals, settings pages, and navigation components, have been refined to create a cleaner and more consistent experience.
Setting Navigation Improvements
Settings pages have been reorganized with clearer sections and sidebar navigation to improve usability and accessibility.
Enhanced Research Pipeline & Improved Source Validation
The content research pipeline has been rebuilt to improve the reliability and quality of sources used during content generation.
Research links have improved validation preventing broken links or invalid pages from appearing in generated content.
The research system now significantly reduces links to competitor websites, resulting in more neutral and authoritative sources within generated drafts.
PDF sources are no longer included as links within article drafts, improving the overall quality and usability of citations.
Settings & Account Management Improvements
Settings have been reorganized into clearer sections with consistent sidebar navigation.
Password updates and interface language preferences.
Image generation toggle, interview beta access, and upcoming language options.
Team member roles and permissions, now with a consistent sub-navigation structure.

Role-Based Access Control
The new user roles available: Owner, Admin, and Editor.
All three roles can edit the Brand Lens, use AI Team Members, and use the Content Team.
Admins and Owners can add team members, edit roles, and manage payments.
Only owners can edit owner roles. Admins can not remove or edit Owner roles.
Content Updates
Outline notifications- The app sends notifications as each part of the outline process progresses, updating the user about progress.
Date knowledge - The content team is now updated with the current date. This information flows through all stages, including the new research process.
Various UI Improvements and Bug Fixes
Fixed logic for updating titles across the AI content team.

Updates to the Brand Lens
The Brand Lens now includes:
Editorial guidelines

To view and access these features, click the “Brand Guidelines” button available on the Brand Lens tab. If not satisfied with the results, the brand guidelines can be regenerated by clicking on the “Generate” button.
Updates to AI Team Members
The AI copywriter now includes the editorial guidelines and improvements to using the Brand Lens. It also includes special instructions for content re-optimization, long-form content, and FAQs.
The Brand Photographer uses the photography guidelines and brand color palette in the brand lens, with prompt optimizations to take advantage of this.
Updates to the Content Team
The AI content team was updated with a complete rebuild of our backend system. This includes:
Improving our job queuing and prompt management system.
Error rates are down by an order of magnitude, and all errors are now recoverable by users.
Ability to quickly test and iterate agent workflows and prompts
Improvements to content generation
General improvements to the keyword table.
Bulk uploading keywords.
Custom instructions for each stage of the content team.
Integration of the brand lens persona and product into pre-writing.
